MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I want to wish all my followers and viewers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will return to my blogging after the holidays. I will be focusing more on my ornaments than minis, as I am trying to get my business started. but I will continue to work on my dream bathroom because I hate to leave a project unfinished. I'm thinking of opening another blog one just for minis and the other for the ornaments. Haven't really decided yet. Well I need to get off here and do RL things. See ya next year!!!!

Craft Show
Well the craft show is over. I had a great time. My cousin Kathy came and can you imagine it was her first craft show she ever attended in her entire life!!! By the way, it's so nice to have her back into my life again. Missed you cuz. The profit from the show was okay. But considering the economy and how others did, I did okay. There's always next year. I don't give up that easily, besides it was a learning experience in finding what people are looking for and giving me feed back was a great tool. It just makes me a better craft person and I will have better things to sell next year. I'm enjoying it!!!!
Now I can relax and start working on my mini dream bathroom again, poor thing has been neglected for sometime now. Well come back to see how the bathroom is coming along. Until next time live, laugh, and believe..Life is good.

Oh looky here!
I just can't seem to leave those minis alone. I bought this house at Michael's craft store. They were marked down and I couldn't refuse. For $2.37 each I bought All they had, hmmmm around seven of them. I brought them home and set them down in my craft area and They kept yelling at me "make me, make me". So being soft hearted as I am, I gave in and said "okay, just one" So I pushed the ornaments aside and started building. Loved every minute of it. Not sure what I going to do with it yet but I do know it will go to my precious grand daughter, Trinity.
Well this is it for now, heading back to work tonight. I only have to work 5 days then get 8 off . took some vacation days. How sweet it is lol. till next time, Be safe, Have fun, and Believe.
I'm Baaack!

Swap
This was my first swap I participated in and it was a blast. The Swap was called the 1/4inch bakery. The first picture are the items I made. Layer cake, a plate of cakesters, and a 4th of July sheet cake. If you want to know how I made them. I took the little foam dots that are used for scrapbooking to give a 3D effect. I put two together, they are already white so I didn't have to ice them just decorate them. Some I painted, and others I used finger nail decorations. Worked great. For the cakesters, I punched out 1/8th circles from black textured scrapbook paper and then took white air dry clay to use for the filling. The sheet cake is made from the white foam scrapbooking stuff. I cut it to size and hand painted the flag on it. For the round platters I used mini metal coins, and aluminum foil for the sheet cake.
The second picture is the items I received from the swap. I was like a little kid at Christmas when I got the package and opened it. There is some great talent out there and I'm glad to be a part of it. Till next time, stay safe and laugh.
Another Week
Here it is another week here and gone. Boy times seems to fly when you are having fun and more so when you get older. Didn't work on my bathroom room this week. I made over 50 ornaments . Not too bad! Right? The craft show is Nov, 14th and its just around the corner, so I will be concentrating on the ornaments and putting the bathroom on the back burner till after the show.

Plumbing is done!
Whew that was a dirty job...LOL For all the faucets I used earring backings, and for the shower head its part of an earring also. I took Tanya's idea and used the little wire thingies off those suctions cups for the spigots. Works nicely I think , Thanks Tanya. I took the large paper clips and sequins to make the railing and towel racks. The window and door frame were easy, just measured and cut. I plan on making a door with stained glass and I'm not sure about the window treatment yet. So now comes the fun part, to decorate. I want to add shelves, but not sure where. I have a whole week to think about that while I'm working at my real life job. I hope my boss doesn't find that out? LOL.
Now this is what I call a collection! Awesome!!!
Just thought you might want to take a look a this video. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=3596190n&tag=related;photovideo It's great.

I'm back... It's been a hectic week. (in RL that is). First off, I had to work on one off my days off. Then I had to take my DNL to the dentist to get her four molars pulled and then on Friday my brother had surgery to remove two of his thyroids. Then Sunday my granddaughter came down with strept throat. My poor son. But like I tell him God brought us to all of this he will see us through it.
I still managed to work in my crafts. I made a christmas ornament (6 of the one kind) and worked on my minis, as you can see above. I made the toilet tank and the shower stall and the sink/vanity. I am still uncertain how to do the inside of the shower stall. Any ideas.? I would like to tile it to make it look like stone. But not sure. As far as the sink, I made it with clay which is still drying. I plan on painting it the burgundy color. I am going to add all the plumbing and hardware on my next week off. Also work on the window. Then put everything in its place and anchor it down. I still have things I want to do before I even think about decorating. So stay tuned, Till next time....... Be safe.
